Rule out any ingoing infection first

Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
The cause of low grade fever in the evening can be many . As he is diabetic many a time s he may not have XXXXXXX high grade fever . So the first thing to rule out is any infection in the body .
Get basic investigations done .
CBC, Crp , Urine -routine / Micro, Sgpt, S.creat, sugars and chest X ray.
If there are mosquito around consider getting a malaria / Dengue test may help.
If everything is negative uncrintrolled diabetes may sometimes cause low grade fever
An examination by a doctor would help .
