What Causes Loose Stools While Teething?

Question: My baby 10 months old is suffering from loose motion ( 5 to 7 per day since last 3 to 4 days) due to teeth growth. She is not interested in taking food. Kindly recommend meditation.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. For a baby of this age, it is normal to pass stool several times a day or even after each feed. Alternatively the child may pass stool once in 10 days and that is normal too. Unless the stool is blood stained you need not give any medicines. However, it is very important to maintain proper hydration. ORS or oral rehydration solution needs to be given. You can give curd or yogurt.

Teething is not directly related. You need to maintain a proper gap between meals and let the child grow hungry before you offer the next feed.
