Brief Answer:
Suspected hypotension,monitor blood pressure/sugar

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thank you for taking care of your mom.

Getting lightheaded after taking Losartan might be related to low blood pressure she might experience while taking this pill. I advise to measure her blood pressure at least 2 times/daily (especially when she is getting lightheaded), record the results and pass the to her doctor for further evaluation.

If hypotension will be confirmed, the doctor would change the dose or shift to another pill.

Burning sensation in her arms and legs might be related to possible
- side effect of cholesterol pill
- neurological problems (neuropathy)
- dermatological issues (dermatitis or fungal infection).

As she is taking cholesterol pill, that could have negatively affect her liver and muscles. I advise to run liver/kidney/pancreatic functions tests to rule out such problems.

Next, neurological tests and further evaluation by dermatologist is needed to exclude respective problems.

Depending on the results, specific treatment will be prescribed. I also advise to monitor her blood sugar levels, record the results and pass them to her doctor for further evaluation. Studies have reported diabetes in patients using cholesterol pills of statin group.

Hope it helped!
