No I am not doing any yoga, gym corectly. I don't have pain while squatting or sitting on the floor but while sitting down or getting up when there is more pressure on the knees.

Brief Answer:
I would suggest you to get MRI

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I believe that you are having chondromalacia patallae. It is common in young age females. In this condition there is softening of knee cap. It can be confirmed by MRI. It is self limiting and improve itself in 6 months.
I recommend following thing to my patients with chondromalacia patallae.
1. Avoid stairs, and cross leg sitting.
2. Calcium and vitamin D3 daily.
3. Tablet Dicerin daily for 3 months to regenerate cartilage.
4. Static quadriceps exercises.
I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions.
Thanks.

Thank you doctor, that was quite comprehensive. Is MRI done by a radiologist? Should I just go and say MRI of knee or is there some specific medical way of saying it? Is there a video/ photos somewhere that I can refer to on the exercises? For Ca and Vit D3 which medicine should I take? If the report confirms your diagonosis, then I will start the medication right away else will send you the report.

Hello ,
You can go to a diagnostic center and get MRI.
For exercises you should see a physiotherapist. You an learn it in one visit. And then you can do it regularly at home.
