Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to allergic cause

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. It could be due to hypersensitivity or an allergic reaction. I would request you to upload image of the affected areas. It will help me to evaluate the condition. Taking some antiallergic like cetirizine or benadryl (or possibly better ones like fexofenadine or loratidine which are prescription medicines) should help. You could also apply some emollient like calamine lotion or some moisturizer like aloe vera lotion.

I would also insist you to get the following tests done:
* Blood for IgE levels
* Blood for allergy profile

You need to visit an allergy centre with the reports. They will be able to arrange for suitable desensitisation and you would get relief. I will insist you to avoid application of cortisone cream as although it will make it go away faster, it will also make it return faster.

I would await your response based on which I will guide you further. Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
