Question: itching and white patch near the pubic hair area. Itching also is there. brown discharge. What to do?

Brief Answer: Probably Fungal infection Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Itching and whitish patch in the pubic area most of times could be due to fungal infection. Applying antifungal creams like Miconazole twice daily for a week would help here . You may have to cut the pubic hair (not to shave) and apply the cream over the area affected and area surrounding it. Brown discharge may or may not be related to the fungal infection. this has to be ascertained by vaginal examination by a gynecologist. Hope, I answered your query. Wish you good health. regards,
