What Causes Itching And Lower Abdominal Pain?
Question: Hello doctor, I am having a lower abdominal pain and itch anytime I press my lower stomach and I have just noticed that I usually wake up with thick pulse on the tip of my penis in the morning, I believe it's an infection, so I need your help.

Early morning discharge from tip of Penis(Urethral Opening) suggest the possibility of Urethritis(inflammation of Urethra) especially so if its associated with discomfort or burning sensation while passing urine. Lower abdominal pain especially situated just above the pubis in midline is likely to be due to Cystitis(inflammation of Urinary Bladder).
I would suggest you the following investigation, which can be done in consultation with your primary care physician. Presence of sexually transmitted disease needs to be considered and ruled out if you are sexually active, in view of possibility of Urethritis.
1. Urine Routine and microscopic examination
2. Urethral discharge for microscopic examination and culture
In the meantime I would suggest you the following
1. Ensure good intake of water:2-3 litre a day
2. Consume meals on time
3. Refrain from starting any antibiotics or OTC medication without proper assessment by your Primary care Physician.
