What Causes Irritation On Tongue After Drinking Wine?

Question: I drank lots of res wine last week and on my last glass my tongue started feeling irritated on top, a few days went by and it started to go away. The only thing left is these 2 red little string projections under my tongue that hurt a lot when i touch them or eat and drink. What are they and how can i get rid of them?

First, the tannins and phenolics of the red wine bind permanently to the tongue. Second, questions like "red little string..." are strongly visual and are generally difficult to answer on a text interface.

these are all normal structures. They get stretched like any other tendon and hurt for quite a while afterwards. Aspirin like drugs are helpful.

The link did not help at all because is not the same as what i on the bottom of my tongue. I just have 2 tiny red looking like strings that hurt if i touch them and/or drink and eat something. I have a pic if that helps.
