What Causes Irritation On The Tip Of The Penis?

Question: Hi Dr. XXXXXXX
I dont know if you remember me.
you answered a question of mine a month ago.
I am still having a slight irritation on the tip of my penis. not all the time, but there are times that I will notice it.
I went to see my Urologist August 23, he said my penis looks fine, and prescribed me 2 mores weeks of Cipro. He only ran a urine test in house, he said everything was fine.
He said he did not see a reason to run STD tests, because I didnt have any sypmtoms.
I very much am a Hypocondriac. I just want your opinion again on what you think this small irritaion could be. Sometimes it feels like an itch, sometimes it pails like a pain. On a scale of 1-10 both itch and pain are about a 1 or less. I only feel it every now and then. never hurts when i have sex or ejaculate, doesnt burn when I pee, no discharge.
I have attached pictures of my penis.
I had sex July 6. Protected sex, but no condom when I received oral.
I started to feel like this August 3.

The occasional pain or discomfort of grade 1 scale out of 10 is of no significance and
could be due to mild inflammation or acidic urine and is nothing to be worried about .

Drink more water along with urine alkalizer Citralka thrice daily to keep your urine dilute and alkaline .

As far as possible avoid unprotected vaginal or oral sex till this gets cured completely .

Have you ever seen this problem before Dr.? I will follow your advice. I just want my penis back to normal.
Does it take a while for the penis to heal??

Pain and discomfort at the tip of the penis is a common problem that we cone across in our day to day practice in many patients with active sexual life .It gets resolved spontaneously and one has to observe proper personal hygiene by washing genitals every time after sex .
