What Causes Irritating Bug Bites On Legs?

Question: Noticed that my granddaughter had these bug bites on her legs yesterday thinking they were mosquito bites. Today they have gotten irritated and a couple of them look like bullseyes. Is there reason to be concerned that these could be something other than mosquito bites?

Insect bite allergy indeed

Detailed Answer:
Hi....I have seen the images....this is indeed an insect bite allergy. This has got a tendency to aggravate itself in initial 3-4 days and then will resolve. Meanwhile I suggest you to use antiallergics like Cetrizine or Hydroxyzine or Benadryl. All are equally effective. You can also apply plain Calamine lotion to alleviate the intense itching.

Do not worry.... It will settle in few days.

If itching is increasing/ lesions are spreading on / if there is blood in motion or urine, I suggest to consult your pediatrician.
