What Causes Irregular Periods After An Abortion?
Question: After the DnC aborption on 03.06.2013,my periods have become very irregular for example last period cycle happened on 23.04.2014 and till now I have not got my periods due on 23.05.2014 ,I have already done a pregrancy kit test which came -ve.
I am very worried as to why the periods are so abnrmal after the abortion ,situtations of late period have occured earlier also after the aborption.

It is very common to have deranged periods after abortion but they usually subside by 6-9 months but in your case it is persisting because you have bicornuate uterus so both cavities are responding differently to resumption of normal menses after abortion in one cavity.
In my opinion you should get a baseline ultrasound done to see for endometrial thickness and ovarian morphology.
In case ultrasound is normal then start planning for pregnancy.
Wait for natural conception for three months and you can take the help of LH KIT to detect ovulation which are readily available in market.
And if it doesn't happen then visit your gynecologist and opt for follicular study to see for rupture of follicle and then time intercourse to achieve pregnancy.
