What Causes Intermittent Ear Fullness, Throat Irritation And Post Nasal Drip?
Question: Hi :) i have been having intermittant ear fullness and pain accompanied with post nasal drip. I also have gerd and an enlarged lymph node. Antibiotics dont help
Also had an mri done on neck and the node was at 1.1cm. Had a biopsy no cancer was found but they couldnt get much fluid out of the node. No answers.. My throat sometimes hurts also. Could this be all GERD related?

I have gone through your query. GERD can give irritation to throat and post nasal drip. Treating GERD will be helpful for his. I usually recommend proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole and domperidone for 4 to 6 weeks in such cases. I also give antihistamines like levocetirizine and mast cell stabilizers like monteleukast along with this.
Avoid carbonated drinks , smoking , fatty , spicy foods and junks. Take meals at least 2 hours before lying down for sleeping. Raise the head end little more with pillows. These measures will be helpful to relieve your problem.
If there is no improvement even after that then review with your ENT specialist again.
