Acid peptic disease could be the cause

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms

Going by description of upper abdomen pain ,burping and vomiting underlying acid peptic disease along with Gastroesophageal reflex needs to be considered. I would suggest you the following

1. Antacid like Pantoprozole along with gastric motility increasing drug like Domperidone will help relieve the symptoms
.2. Eat small quantity of meals more frequently
3. Avoid carbonated / caffeinated / alcoholic beverages
4. Avoid sleeping immediately after eating or drinking
5. Consume plenty of water
6. High fibre diet : 2 serving of vegetable salad and 2 serving of fruits especially citrus fruit will ensure adequate intake of fibre in diet.

If the symptoms still persist then further clinical assessment and Gastroscopy will be required

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy Life

Take care

Thank you! So I should see a gastroenterologist or continue with my primary care it's been over 4 hours and pain persists. I am unable to do anything except stand and lean forward. And what is a gastroscopy?

Brief Answer:
Do consult Gastroenterologist if symptoms persist

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Dear Ms

If the symptoms persist then do see Gastroenterologist. Gastroscopy is Endoscopic evaluation of stomach in which a endoscopic tube is passed through the mouth to visualise the oesophagus and stomach .
Do follow my previous advise it would definitely be helpful. Also do take some liquid Antacid.

Wishing you great Health.
Regards
Deepak
