What Causes Indigestion, Acid Burps, Constipation And Poor Appetite?

Question: I am having problems with digestion. I feel acid burps when I eat fried items and food that is not spicy (Sambar, Payasa etc). Food is not getting digested properly, quality of stool is very poor, it is not firm, but watery(sometimes it is little foamy). I dont feel hungry at right times as I used to feel before. Please give a home remedy I can follow everyday preferably in the morning that will improve my digestion,

Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concerns and in continuation with the previous health query on same issue dated 27th XXXXXXX 2016 where I've asked you for necessary examination/investigation, following home remedies you can try:

1. Probably you are suffering from "GRAHANI ROGA" / IBS where food is not digested properly resulting in improper bowel habits and stool formation

2. Take: old brown rice, black gram, chickpea, banana,butter milk, honey, soup, cumin, coriander, white gourd, pomegranate, amla, bitter taste.

Avoid: newly harvested rice, chickpea flour, black gram,horse gram,potato,brinjal, spices, tea/coffee, alcohol,junk food,peas, garlic,vinegar,jaggery; hot milk,sour/ hot taste, late night awakening,excess water drinking,eye collyrium, excess physical exertion.

3. Take: fried cumin : 500 mg
fried asafoetida: 250 mg.. with honey thrice daily

. safed raal: 10 gm
Local sugar: 20 gm.... mix thoroughly and in morning/evening take 5-5gm with cold water.

. Soak 5 gm amla daily, when it starts to become soft then after turning it into powder form, then mix black salt (quantity sufficient) and make pills of 50 mg and make 250 mg tablet and suck as lozenges.

. Takrarisht: make buttermilk fresh daily,do not add water only fried cumin seeds , and rock salt (daily morning)
