What Causes Incessant Vomiting, Diarrhea, Exhaustion, Fever, Headache And Body Pain?
Question: I have been vomiting incessantly since yesterday morning , I took avomine tablet and then vomiting stopped. After that I had loose motion very watery kind of. After this I was fully exhausted, had fever, headache, bodyache. Kindly advice what medicine I need to take.

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
You seem to be suffering from Acute Infective Diarrhea/ Acute Gastro-Enteritis (AGE)
Watery loose stools are mostly due to Viral gastroenteritis, and it doesn't usually require antibiotics.
But if there is associated pain abdomen and fever like you have, we add antibiotics to the prescription. AGE responds well to treatment with in 5 days of antibiotics like Ofloxacin and Ornidazole.
A combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone is added to combat acidity and vomitings.
Probiotic containing Lactobacillus should also be taken along.
In case of fever just take Paracetamol, whenever you get fever.
Most important here is maintaining hydration and for that purpose you should take Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS).
In case you have recurrent vomitings and you are unable to take the medicines, then you would require intravenous antibiotics and fluids.

Thank your diagnosis of my problem, Yes i have been having water stools although the vomiting sensation is not there anymore. I'm currently only having bread, Electral and apple juice. Can you also guide me what tablets should i purchase?
