Brief Answer:
Less friction causes sensation of imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail and am made to understand that you are having balance related problems while walking on shiny floors. This has got to do with physics in the sense the shiny floors are made very smooth. When you walk on smooth surfaces, there is less amount of friction between surfaces in contact with each other. It leads to easier mobility and there is sliding of the surfaces in contact with each other. Therefore the bottom of your footwear slides along the floor much easily causing a sensation of imbalance. This does not happen in a carpeted or rough floor.

Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Pls modify flooring or get slip resistant footwear

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

If you are having a smooth floor at home then there are a number of floor treatments that are designed to be used on existing flooring. This is a less expensive option than installation of completely new flooring. You may have to discuss with an architect on the costs and expenditures involved to change the setting. Also please make sure the modifications are in suitability to your requirements.

Wearing footwear which is slip proof is another option but you may need to spend some time in choosing the right footwear and visit a few shops until you can get a favorable pair of shoes and take short steps while walking.

Hope your query is answered.
