Brief Answer:
Not normal, Will need some kore information to help you

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I can understand your concern.Yes it is of course a medical question.

When female is not able to achieve orgasm, it is called 'anorgasmia'.

There are many causes.

Medical/physical illness, hormonal disturbance, few medicines, substance use, gynecological problems, psychological disturbance and relationship issues are common causes of such problem.

Treatment depends upon diagnosis of the cause.

Sometimes in women no specific cause can be found out.

To help you for this problem I need some information from your side.

- If you think any factor/cause I described above is present in your case, let me know in detail.

- What do you understand by the word 'orgasm'?

-Since when have you, become sexually active and how many times have you had sex?

-Whenever you involve in sex with boyfriend is it comfortable and relaxed situation? How is your relationship with him?

- Have you any experience of masturbation? If yes, was there any orgasmic feeling with that?

- Is your menstrual cycle regular?provide some information about it. Is there any current or past history of urogenital infection?

Waiting for your reply.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

I have none of those factors listed,I believe orgasm is a point where a woman experiences heighten pleasure,I have been sexually active since I was 19,I've had sex alot of times.i try my best to be very comfortable and I have a very stable relationship with my partner.Although whenever I masturbate I usually get orgasm through stimulating my clitoris .my menstrual cycle is not entirely regular sometimes it falls within 28days and other times 30-32.i once had yeast infection and that's d only infection I've ever had

Brief Answer:
Consult gynecologist and rule out yeast infection.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for infomation XXXXXXX

You are right about your orgasm concept. As you have experienced orgasm during masturbation, though with clitoris, it is good sign that neural circuit of sex is working well.

Menstruation variation 28-32 days is ok. It suggests that hormonal system is also working fine.

You are quite confident about relationship and comfortable during sex. These suggest there is no psychological problem.

History of yeast infection matters. If low lying asymptomatic yeast infection is still there, it can be the reason for your problem. In that case, thorough examination by gynecologist and if needed culture tests are required.

Another possibility is some technical problem during sex. You mentioned that your boyfriend tried too hard. It is not so that to reach to orgasm he should be hard. In this case you both should go to sexologist/psychiatrist for evaluation and counselling. If your gynecologist is used to dealing with such types of problems, he/she can also help.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to answer if still any query is there.
