Brief Answer:
Can wait and repeat the test.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms. XXXXXXX

Thanks for posting your query.

I have gone through your report. Since you do not have any symptoms as such now, and as per protocol, you can wait for 2-3 months and repeat the test. If the values are same or if the TSH levels have risen, you need supplementation of thyroxine.

Apart from repeating the TSH, you can also get free T3, free T4 and vitamin D3 levels done. This provides a better clarity on the specific hormone supplement needed.

Please see an endocrinologist to help you with further management.

The decreased blood flow during menstruation may not be related to your hormone status. It can be physiological. Please improve your general nutrition and observe. Since you are also on weight loss program, this becomes essential.

Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Hormone imbalance can be a cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

The decrease in the flow can occur with hormone imbalance. This is possible with abnormal weight gain or loss. A complete evaluation will help to determine the cause and help plan further management.

Hope you find this information helpful.

regards,
Shanti.V.
