What Causes High Heart Rate?

default
Posted on Fri, 4 Jul 2014
Question: XXXX
After eating breakfast, even a little - except fruit - my heart is beating harder and faster sometimes at 102. My normal heart rate is about 60. I am a female 62.
It has been like that for quite a while... even in my youth did I notice it.
I have recently been through a period of immense stress, and my heart would be racing and pounding
like this due to the stress - off and on.
What is causing this?
Thank you! ;O)

1. About 102.
2. In the mornings if I eat early I just have increased heart rate.
3. During my period of extreme stress ( which I hope is over now, as I have resigned from my job) I did have palpitations.
4. No. Have had it checked several times - always on target.
5. About 6 hours of sleep. Now and then 7 or 8. Wake up ready to roll
6. No.
7. My blood pressure is usually low. But I did measure it a few days ago at work
when my heart was going crazy with the stress and it was 140/70.
Usually it is below 120/cannot remember the lower number. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mam.
See your current history is suggestive of just stress related issues.
I don't find any reason to worry.
In such situations i advise you to get just a routine checkup including ECG and Lipid profile.
I personally prefer to give me patients in such conditions a combination of Clonazepam and Propanolol like Tab BetaAnxit to be taken once daily in night time.
You may discuss with your doctor about taking it, i am hopeful that you will get immense relief from it.
I also advise you to do some meditation or yoga.
I would like to hear from you after 15 days of the above discussed treatment and with the above mentioned investigations.
If you have any further query please ask me, else close the discussion and rate it.
Stay Healthy.
