What Causes Heart Palpitations With No History Of Heart Attack?
Question: Symptoms jittery faint. Some palpitations. No chest pain or neck pain. Olympic level athlete stress test a year ago. No history of heart attack. Gained 25 lbs last year and can't seem to get it off. 58 male. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX No hypertension history. Episodic "spells" seem post prandial.

Regarding your concern I would recommend you a meticulous exploration of your episodic presyncopes.
First I would recommend a resting ECG to exclude any detectable congenital disorders, a cardiac ultrasound and an ambulatory ECG monitoring.
I would also check for your blood glucose profile .
If everything results ok a Head Up Tilt Table test would help to rule out autonomic dysfunction.
