Posted on Tue, 28 Oct 2014
Question: I have been getting morning headaches around the back of my head and top of my head. I have also been experiencing sinus pressure around my eyes and ears. Also I have this high pitched sound in my ears all day. Could this be an allergy to some Florida growth?

Brief Answer:
Ent examination, audiometry, x-ray cervical spine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

With such presentations in my clinic, I would first rule out with x- ray cervical spine- back head ache, Detailed ent examination to rule out sinusitis, closed BP monitering to rule out hypertension, audiometry tests for high frequency sound in ear ( eusthacian block secondary to sinusitis or age related deafness).

Once I am sure this is not life threatening, I would suggest a pain relieving medicine like paracetamol 500 mg. Definative treatment can be started according to the findings and investigationary reports.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
