Question: My husband with alzheimers just had a lot of green sticky pus while trying to urinate. What is wrong.

That lot of green sticky pus is from a ruptured abscess....most probably a periuretheral abscess... Is his penis swollen and painful? Is he diabetic? He needs admission and intravenous antibiotics along with a urine culture and blood counts. Exactly from which part of the penis did the pus came out? Was it mixed with urine, or seperate?
