What Causes Frequent Urination And Urge To Urinate Post Protected Sex?

Question: I'm a 33 year old male. On sunday I had sex with a sex worker (transexual). I used a condom and to my knowledge it didnt rip. It was still intact when we finished. She did go down on me with out a condom for about 3-5 minutes. She spit on my penis. She was hesistant because she said she is scared of diseases. Well about 2-3 days later I've had a connstant urge to pee. Even after I pee I feel like I still have to go but nothing comes out. I do not have discharge or pain while urinating. Its just a constant urge to pee and it feels like my urethra is is about to burst. I took a at home uti test and it came out positive for leukocytes. I panicked and went to my doctor and he did a urine test and it came out negative. He advised me to drink a lot of water. But my test shows no pus, white blood cell, etc, etc. Could I have gotten anything from this sexual encounter? I do have generalized anxiety, but could I be causing this?

Brief Answer:
Mild Urinary tract infection(UTI)

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,

Welcome to healthcaremagic.

I read your condition and query carefully. First of all i would like to say do not panic. The urge to urinate frequently, with only small amounts of urine passage can be sign of UTI. Your anxiety is aggravating all these symptoms.

Your UTI is almost gone on its own ,because urine test no more shows leukocyte, any bacteria or pus in it.So there is nothing to worry now.

I would suggest the same thing as your physician did. is to drink lots of water.

Meanwhile follow these;
Drink pure, undiluted cranberry juice to increase the acidity of your urine and make the bladder more hostile to bacteria,
Eat blueberries and pineapple for their anti-inflammatory properties,
Take vitamin C to boost your immune system and increase urine acidity,
Urinate frequently and do not suppress the urge to urinate.

Hope my explanation helped.Feel free to ask more.

Vaginal/ anal germs/sanitary unhygeine

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir,

The bacteria might have infected your penile urethra during vaginal, anal intercourse or any kind of sanitary unhygienic conditions. That is how it got transferred to your body causing these problems.
