Question: My name is XXXXXXX I am 73 years old and recently widowed. I have had skin problems for several years now. I was on Celebrex for several years also. I have had both knees replace due to osteo-arthritis. I have had thin skin issues frequent tearing and bruising, and inflamation of the skin on lower parts. I went to see my gyn yesterday thinking I had a yeast infection. After testing she said she thought my problem was estrogen loss and she gave me extrace cream to use and recheck in 2 weeks. I also have had trouble sleeping for some years, and recently thought it was just depression. Can low or 0 estrogen can these skin issues and my sleep, depression issues.
