Question: Hi Doctor, I had a miscarriage in april due to incompetent cervix. Bleeding continued for a month and then I started taking XXXXXXX as I have PCOS too. From XXXXXXX end onwards, I started having smelly white discharge. Doctor has taken swab and culture report was normal. She said might be due to light funga infection, you are having smell and suggested to take PHEAL pessaries and Forcan. My husband too took one Forcan tablet.
But symptoms were still there. Occassionally discharge and smell. Doctor took high vaginal swab and again the report was normal. Took some other antibiotics. But , still symptoms were not going. This time dr took intra cervical mucous and sent for C&S test and suggested urine C&S for my husband. But, report was normal. Rarely this discharge have tinge of brown / yellow to it. My husband too got infection noted as "Pseudomonas aeruginosa" in urine culture but he doesn't have any symptoms. What could be the reason for this smelly discharge for me without any infection being detected.
My urine C&S was normal.
