Brief Answer:
seems to be acid peptic disease.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having foam on having food. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any difficulty in swallowing or belching or regurgitation of partially digested food ?
Are you recovering from stroke or cva (cerebro vascular accident) ?

Kindly get back to me with the details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be swallowing disorder secondary to acid peptic disease or salivary gland abnormality or drug induced or age related ischemia of brain.

I suggest you to consult ent surgeon, get evaluated with detailed ent examination (local oral cavity lesions), laryngoscopy (abnormalities of pharynx or larynx), ultrasound neck (salivary glands) and if necessary CT scan of brain to rule out ischemic changes of brain.

Mean time, change the posture while eating - head lift (to prevent aspiration and lung infection), avoid consuming acidic or citrus containing diet (grapes, lemon).

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
