What Causes Fluttering In Pelvic Area With Pain In Rectum And Vagina?

Question: I have fluttering in my pelvic area, like a constant vibration/fluttering. sometimes in vaginal area with pelvic area and sometimes just in and around pelvic bone. I have had hysterectomy and menopause also. This has been for about a week now, sometimes my rectum hurts and my vagina when I stand for long periods.

Brief Answer: referred pain Detailed Answer: Hi Since you had hysterectomy these symptoms are unrelated to Genital area like uterus. These symptoms are commonly seen at your age due to osteoarthritic changes in bones. This is called reffered pain. That is pain starts in back or hip joint and slowly gets reffered to vaginal and rectal area. Therefore I suggest you start taking calcium suppliment tablets and see an orthopaedic surgeon for evaluation of osteoarthritis. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks that makes total sense, especially since I have ostoporosis in my right hip. I will do as suggest. I take quite a bit of vitamin D but no calcium.My right hip has been hurting and I do have lower disk issues also
