Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you asking!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. Fecal occult blood test negative doesn't definitely exclude colon cancer.
The gold standard diagnostic test to rule out colon cancer is colonoscopy.
2. With regards to your symptoms like flat /thin stools them may be related with :
- IBS( irritable bowel syndrome)
- candida overgrowth
- large bowel tumor
3.If you have more than 3 month with these symptoms than I would suggest doing :
- colonoscopy
- fecal test for candida overgrowth
Wish you all the best!
