Brief Answer:
not related to mirena

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is a likely viral or bacterial gastroenteritis (infection of the gastrointesinal tract ) and not related to the mirena coil.

Mirena does have a low risk of infection but this infection would be accompanied by abdominal pain or cramping in addition to vomiting and fever. It also would not have resolved without treatment.
Treatment would have needed to be instituted for the symptoms to resolve.

The time course of improvement is also important, if it was related to complications due to the mirena, the symptoms would be worsening in the absence of treatment.
The vomiting would not have resolved.

The fever will resolve soon, each symptom can follow its own course for improvement.
