The antiobiotic was amoxicillin which I took for 10 days. The infection at that time was in my lungs...presently it is not...seems more like the sinus. The temp then, was I recall, was around 100 or a lttle more. My temp now is 99.5. I had chills a few nights ago but not now after I began antiobiotics again (really want to quit them now) Dont know the number of days with fever...several. Thank you.

Brief Answer: Change of antibiotics needed Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for getting back Since you have been symptomatic for more than 10 days and the fever is associated with chills here is what I suggest 1. Change of antibiotic to levofloxacin once daily for 5 days 2. Get work up for fever including complete blood count and chest x ray. If there is tenderness around the sinus then x ray para nasal sinus as well 3. Tab paracetamol 500 mg three times daily will help bring down the fever 4. Avoid cold beverages, milk and milk products for now I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me I wish you good health and a speedy recovery Regards
