Brief Answer:
Superficial Subcutaneous Lipoma

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXX

Thanks for reverting back, and going by the snap shots and 'fat lump' they probably fits into 'Lipoma'. [benign condition of body fat]

1. any hereditary condition [familial multiple lipomatosis] in your family?
2. treatment of lipoma is not necessary unless the tumor becomes painful or restricts movement, and are usually removed due to cosmetic reasons.

PS. Simple Excision, Liposuction, Injections causing Lipolysis are popular in modern medicines.

3. make sure to check with general surgeon regarding any pressure effects of the lump [occasional pain] on underlying nerves/muscles/ligaments/tendon to get it resolved there only.

4. Take: ginger, barley, soup, radish, lemon, old rice, protein rich diet, butter milk, horse gram, harad, honey, bitter gourd

Avoid: salt, citric fruits, meat, newly harvested rice,heavy-spicy-slimy food, curd, white sesame, mustard oil, alkali, day time sleeping, excess indulgence in sex, suppression of natural urges.

5. Add little turmeric powder on aloe vera leaf after cutting it. heat and apply on lump(s)

6.
. kanchnaar gugullu: 2
arogyavardhini vati: 1............ with dashmoolarishta 10ml [thrice daily]

. Vridhi vadhika vati 1 with Trifla kshaya 5ml [at bed time]

. use of dashang lepa after fomentation of lump [morning/evening]

Brief Answer:
Management of Lipomas

Detailed Answer:
Dear

Thanks for reverting back.

1. the picture you gave was of forearm [region between elbow and wrist] where single lump was visible and present history says 10 lumps are on hands, so if possible attach picture of your hand where they are the most.

2. If the patient has a family history of lipomas [as in your case] chances of recurrence are more even after surgery.

3. As advised earlier:

i. limit zinc, alcohol, take low fat diet but remember they won't shrink them because lipomas are encapsulated thus not metabolically available as FAT but still prefer good saturated fats (coconut oil, olive oil, flax seed oil,)

ii. Liver is vital for breakdown of food [including fat], thus hepatoprotective drugs should be taken regularly, since overworking can lead to build up of fat in and around body- LIPOMA.

iii. sage oil may be applied on lipomas which causes gradual decrease in size.

iv. avoid chemical/toxin accumulation by refraining from tobacco, artificial coloring/flavoring agents.

PS. At any moment if wish to go for surgical option, I would recommend removing the most bothersome one alone first, to see how it heals and what kind of long term scar forms. [plastic surgeon will explain to you the treatment options and a surgical plan and what techniques they plan to use to minimize the location and optimize the appearance of scar]
