Question: suddenly my platelet count is 409 and my heartrate is 120...what does this mean

There are many causes of fast heart rate, from normal causes like exertion, pain, anxiety, fear to some problems in the body like heart problem , Thyroid problem , Infections , Vitamin deficiency. etc.

But my concern is your platelet count . Normal range is 1,50,000-4,00,000 and you say it is 409 which is extremely low . Kindly re confirm your platelet count . Because if it's 409 only then you need to be admitted to ICU.
