Question: I have extreme body heat, no fever and my PCP has checked my thyroid, which is in the normal range. I am 87 years old and have prostate cancer that is stable and a left Kidney nephrostomy tube to relieve pressure on the left ureter

You should check other hormones such as cortisol, aldosterone and adrenalin. All these may have effects. Also, tachycardia(rapid heart-rate over a certain range) may lead to such signs as well. So heart diseases should be ruled out as well as some medications which affects heart.
