Brief Answer:
It seems that it is depression

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concern.

From the available description, in view of normal blood reports the symptoms appears to due to depression. The classically irritability, short temper feeling tired and sleepy can occur in depression.
The earlier symptoms of excessive sleep, heavy feeling over chest without obvious abnormality and lasting for few months can occur in depression.

Having said this the earlier symptoms of dry cough can not be explained on basis of depression but it is possible that your depression was followed by subtle viral infection.

You may ask me that why it disappeared without treatment about four to five years back, in reference to that I like to inform you that first episode of depression is self remitting in more than one third of patients.

Considering the possibility, In my view it is better to seek consultation from a psychologist or psychiatrist in city for further evaluation and treatment. You might be surprised to know that depression occurs in at least 15 % of women n their life time and major contributor to impaired quality of life.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
