Brief Answer:
Gerd/gastritis,,,,

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!

I read carefully all your concerns and I understood your query.

You are reporting to have IBS-diarrhea since 30 years and lately increased salivation and vomiting. Regarding these symptoms I can say as follows:

1. Vomiting and hyper salivation is not common for IBS. So to my opinion your recently symptoms may be related with:
a.GERD( acid reflux) or gastritis
b. Medication side effects especially prisriq and atorvastatin, if they are recently used by you.

2.To my opinion you should be evaluated with
- abdominal ultrasound
- upper endoscopy

3.Meantime I suggest to :
- use pantoprazole ( instead of omeprazole)
- use antacids like gaviscon
- continue to use imodium
- eat often and small amount of meal
- eat 3-4 hours before go to bed
- use two pillows when you lay down
- avoid alcohol, smoking, coffee
-avoid unnecessary stress
- increased physical activity.

Hope it was helpful to you!
