Brief Answer:
blood may be related to boil

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

A boil is collection of pus, the pus is normally mixed in with blood. This is treated by : (1) cleaning the area with an antiseptic at least once daily

(2)magnesium sulphate paste is good with these types of lesions. It encourages any pus present to break down so it can discharge. Brings it out

(3)apply a topical antibiotic twice daily,eg neosporin, polysporin, bactroban

(4)there boil, depending on the size, may still need to be incised even if it bursts. This is because small pockets of pus can sometimes still remain

(5)if healing does not occur, oral antibiotics may be needed from your doctor

IF the boil has burst, even slightly, then this may be the reason for the blood, if this is not the case, then the blood would have to be related to other causes.

Other causes of blood in the stool are: hemorrhoids, anal fissure, diverticular disease ,straining from constipation, non cancerous growths in the colon, cancer.

If it is likely one of these causes because the boil is intact then the only way to determine the cause would be examination and assessment from your doctor unless for eg you are known to have hemorrhoids or were straining.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
