Brief Answer:
not serious physical problem likely, need evaluation, it can be treated

Detailed Answer:
Hi Young Man,

Thanks for writing to us.

Erection occurs fully during foreplay that means your physical system is working perfectly.
It is good that you have stopped smoking and drinking.Your height and weight are good according to your age.

Loss of erection during intercourse suggests erectile dysfunction. Considering your history and age, problem is likely psychological.

It can be due to performance anxiety. After foreplay when you go for intercourse thoughts of you would succeed or not come in your mind and you loses erection. For constant erection, continuous excitement and romantic feeling should be there in mind.If mind diverted to some other aspects, chances of losing erection are there. If it is problem in your case you just need to enjoy foreplay and process of intercourse without thinking consciously about it would succeed or not. This may help and your problem would be solved.

If performance anxiety is not the cause, evaluation needed to reach some conclusion.

Are you married? If yes, since when? How is relationship with your wife? Since when are you suffering from above mentioned problem? Does this problem occur always or occasionally? How many times have you done successful intercourse?

If not married, Since when do you active sexually through intercourse?Do you have girlfriend?Provide detail about the same and problem in this case also.

Do you masturbate regularly? provide detail of these aspects if yes.

Waiting for your reply to help you further.

Dr.Chintan Solanki.

Brief Answer:
I think no need of medicine at present, carry on without medicines

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for follow up and information.

Masturbation and ejaculation are normal. And problem is recent since 5 times. In my opinion you should carry on without any medicine. Try to do intercourse without any apprehension and relax mind. Enjoy foreplay. Do not concentrate on erection. Enjoy the process and you would succeed. Many couple face such problems during their initial sex life.
I hope with positive attitude and relax mind you will be able to solve your problem on your own.

Just think that when you do intercourse, are you in hurry as you both are not married. This situation may lead to losing erection. Try to solve this problem also if it is there. You both should be relax and without any apprehension of being caught by someone.

If problem persists always and you fail more than 75% of attempts , consultation of psychiatrist/sexologist would be needed for evaluation.

If still any query, I will be glad to answer.
All the best.

HI
Thanks alot for the help..Could over masturbation also be the cause for this??

Answered by Dr. Chintan Solanki (49 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No, masturbation does not cause such problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

No, masturbation does not cause any problem related to erection.

There is nothing like over masturbation. Frequency varies according to individual. It may be once a week or twice daily.Person should do masturbation when he feels to satisfy his sexual desire.
Until frequency is so much that it affects routine work and occupation of the problem, it is not the problem.

Hope I have answered your query.
