What Causes Erectile Dysfunction After Kegel Exercises?

default
Posted on Sat, 12 Dec 2015
Question: i did kegel exercises 2 years ago , but i was doing it 24 hours and i think i did it in a wrong way or something. however , after 5 months of doing it , i got erectile dysfunction. my erection was amazing and it last too much time. now it doesn't even last for few seconds and weak very short pennis . this is now going on with me for 1 year and 9 months. i test all tests and there is no cure for me cuz i don't have any problem as doctors claim. but it is not phsycological because im measuring my erection when i wake up. early morning erection is so weak and small it doesn't even good to insert it in a woman. check my reports

please note , im sure from my all previous tests it is something related to musceles or nervous system not blood. so in case you prefer to consult with another doctors together it will be good idea since my problem is very complicated and it needs a doctor who has physiotherapy back ground to help me i think.

Brief Answer:
Bulging disc at L5/S1 could be significantly contributing

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thank you for your premium question. I am an expert in sexual health, have a background in physiotherapy, and I can certainly help you with this problem you describe. I have reviewed your tests and records carefully, and consulted with several of my colleagues sitting next to me about this problem.

First, it is important to note that erections are caused by a combination of endocrine, nervous, and vascular systems. Musculature is not at all involved in an erection. Muscle exercises such as those you have performed can increase the force of ejaculation, but do not in any way affect the strength or duration of an erection.

Your bulging disc at L5/S1 could be significantly contributing here. I would consider an operation to repair this disc, as it could be compressing nerves and weakening your erection. You are right that the nervous system could be the main driver of the problem here.

While vasculature does not appear to be the problem, the most effective medication for erectile dysfunction is Viagra. Even if you have nerve compression from your spine, the increase and maintenance of blood flow could address your symptoms while you consider back surgery. I highly recommend Viagra as a symptomatic solution while you are pursuing treatment for potential nerve compression.

My colleagues are in agreement with this assessment. I hope you find it useful. In the future, I encourage you to reach out to me directly for continuity of care. My direct link is below.

Ok doctor thanks for the useful answer, i dont have disc i have only pulge and most doctors told me pulge wont effect. However as you said earlier musceles will effect ejaculation right? Im cumming faster than before in one second, so maybe cuz of the ejaculation is faster i dont have erection anymore . As far as i know once you ejaculate faster , erection gets weaker no? Do you advice me to do anal physiotherapy? Since i did that before in my anus and i felt beter erection which is half of it. The shape of my erection changed , the size of it and even the way of the erection changed from 140 degree to 70 or 80 degree. Can i contact you by email please? Much better? Thanks

You're very welcome.

To clarify my answer, I said muscles can increase the force of your ejaculation. This does not affect the speed. What you are describing is a combination of erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. This can certainly be caused by a disc bulge. You could try anal physiotherapy, as I also have seen good results with this, but this will probably not be useful until you get surgery on your bulging disc.

But my disc pulge is so small and i did chriopractic to it and it is gone. It is not a real disc and even another doctor saw the picture itself he told me that there is not even a buldge. So i think for this issue it is not about this nerve or puldge. What other cause you might think about or solution?

Ok but i tried ciallis for like 4 months 5 mg. and what happened it was giving me more erection as number of times, but the erection was the same very very weak. No any imorovment in the way it errect , doesnt ciallis same viagra response ?

Detailed Answer:
Your MRI report very clearly states there is a disc bulge abutting the exits of the S1 nerve, as well as the thecal sac. This is very unlikely to be a mistake, as this is a very clear finding. Chiropractic cannot correct a disc bulge on its own, so this is not a cure. The only correction for this is surgery.

The other solution here is something I already mentioned: the most effective medication for erectile dysfunction is Viagra. Even if you have nerve compression from your spine, the increase and maintenance of blood flow could address your symptoms while you consider back surgery. I highly recommend Viagra as a symptomatic solution while you are pursuing surgery for nerve compression.

Detailed Answer:
They are similar medications, but sometimes people respond differently to them. Also, Cialis 5mg is a very low dose. You should take at least 10mg, and can take up to 20mg to obtain a stronger erection. I would try the higher doses of Cialis, and if that is ineffective, try Viagra, starting at 50mg.
