Brief Answer: Suspect renal failure.Start dialysis Detailed Answer: Hi dear. Thanks for giving me an opportunity for addressing your query. Creatinine is a waste product in the blood created by the normal metabolism of muscle cells.Kidneys take creatinine out of the blood and remove it into the urine to leave the body when they are healthy. Creatinine 7.5 is more than normal creatinine(1.2mg/dl) levels which I am suspecting stage 5 renal failure & need to be started with hemodialysis.I prefer to start hemodialysis as early as possible while you have some kidney function because it makes the transition easier. If you wait until "kidneys finally stop working altogether" before starting dialysis it will be much harder on your mother's body.
