What Causes Elevated PSA Levels?
Question: PSA for last 4 years been 4
Two months ago right after a stomach bug it jumped to 7
1 month ago is at 5
Feeling some soreness in groin and lower back
Dr ordered MRI, after ultra sound and urine test dre came back nothing abnormal
Is prostrate cancer a high possibility?

At this point I think it would be reasonable to follow your PSA again in 4 to 6 months. I would consider prostate cancer less likely given your history.
with a normal MRI and normal DRE and the PSA trending lower these are signs which leads me to believe that again there is less likelihood of prostate cancer in your case.
if your PSA again begins to rise higher over time then a biopsy might be a consideration. I don't feel strong indication for biopsy right now with the normal MRI and normal physical exam.

You might ask your doctor about performing a bone scan to make sure there are no lesions within the bones contributing to your symptoms.
Most likely your discomfort is related to osteoarthritis. As for the groin pain this may be due to hip arthritis which classically radiates to the groin.
