What Causes Dull Pain On Head And Stiff Neck?

Question: Three days ago I noticed a my head hurt, right rear side. Since then, there has been a dull ache in the same area occasinally, with a stiff neck and mild pain win turning from side to side. Exercise or rest does not seem to trigger the dull occasional head ache.

Do you have hypertension or diabetes or cervical spondylitis. Are you presently using any drugs. Is there any ear discharge or pain in the ear. Do you have any past history of migraine. please also mention if there is giddiness.

Thanks, I do have a history of high blood pressure, and should check it soon. I don't have any of the others, and felt fine doing a 5 mile hike in the hills and hot sun yesterday. It is not debilitating at all. Neck is also not as stiff and sore as it was two days ago.

Just took my blood pressue, right arm 143/80 left arm 133/78. Also my caffeine intake has probably been greater lately along with more stress and anxiety.

I do take a baby aspirn once a day and several supplements. I have been taking the same regiment for about 2 years.
