Brief Answer:
Dehydration or sleep disturbances are common...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Fuzzy brain feeling or clouding of consciousness without infection, if it occurs suddenly could be due to dehydration, stress or sleep disturbances.

2. If it is overtime, it could be early dementia or nutritional deficiencies.

Taking a nutritional diet (Rich in Vit B12, C and E) with moderate exercises. It would be helpful.

If not sure, meet a neurologist to get a XXXXXXX mental examination/ memory tests to identify any early dementia.

Get you hemoglobin and thyroid hormone levels evaluated to check for possible anemia or hypothyroidism

More details necessary for further opinion.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
