Question: I feel dizzy and shaky but I just ate. I wake up in the night feeling that way too. I just don't feel right - I am so tired and have a heavy mental fog.

Brief Answer:
Blood tests are essential in your case.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

I agree with your Doctor's opinion about further evaluation of thyroid gland function, adrenal insufficiency and sugar blood levels imbalances as possible conditions that may cause your concerns.

Unfortunately, the blood tests about these conditions are the cornerstone of the diagnosis and a correct guide to treatment, so, you should find a way to get those tests done.

In my opinion, sugar levels and thyroid gland function could be evaluated first and this could be done in an emergency room too.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
