What Causes Discomfort And Irritated Penis?
Question: Hi. I have a strange tickling irritation in the tip of my penis like i have to urinate. This occured a few days after i had protected sex with a kind of random partner. There was no oral and i was quite safe but that was a week ago and the irritation remains. There is no discharge and it doesnt hurt to urinate. Should i be worried?

This is a very good question. There appears to be very little chance of sexually transmitted infection in your case.
It is possible that your urethra became irritated from friction related to intercourse. This may be related to the particular product which you used as a condom.
would suggest warm soaks in the bathtub once or twice daily for a few days. You might also try some ibuprofen to see if that helps. Would also refrain from sexual activity or masturbation for at least a few days to see if this helps slowly improve your issue.
If the symptoms remain you probably should see your doctor for a screening sexually transmitted disease panel.
