What Causes Discoloartion And Swelling In Right Hand Knuckles?

default
Posted on Tue, 19 Apr 2016
Question: Hello, I've suffered from discolored knuckles on my right hand for years and have been very self concious about it thinking people have always thought I was dirty. I knew better but I could never explain what it was or why I had it. It sometimes goes away and then comes back depending on the season of weather it could become worse or better. I put lotion on daily and it doesn't seem to help. I would really like this to go away. It started with just the main knuckle on the right hand and has since spread to the two last knuckles and my lower knuckles as well. My left hand is just fine.

Is the discoloration associated with any swelling, itching?
Black discoloration may be due to vitamin B12 deficiency.
You should get blood investigation for vitamin B12.
