Brief Answer:
Probably BPH

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I will be trying to help you with the query

A weak stream means that the content of urine are not as much as normal. It usually means the urine is getting obstructed somewhere in its track of flow.

I think the possibility is strong that you have a prostate issue.
This is a regular problem that comes up when one grows older slowly
And can happen even in middle ages.

I would suggest testing an ultrasound and a serum PSA levels to be sure of this. If needed, the best option for this may be surgical (depending on the protate size)

I hope that helps.
Please feel free to contact me for more information
Best of luck

I have heard that prostate surgery is very dangerous. I know my doctor tested my PSA levels and said there was no cancer. What are some of the risk associated with prostate surgery?

Brief Answer:
BPH is not cancer

Detailed Answer:
Prostate surgery was supposed to be dangerous 15 years back.
It is a technique that has been perfected and is not considered dangerous anymore.
In fact most patients are discharged within 5 days.

Still the complications include
bleeding
pain
hyponatremia
some uti
and wound infections

As you can see, the complications are nothing that cannot be managed medically these days.

Also, BPH is not cancer. Its a age related process where the prostate grows.

I hope that this clears your doubts
