What Causes Difficulty In Getting An Erection?

default
Posted on Tue, 25 Nov 2014
Question: Worried that I'm not functioning properly below;
I'm in a steady relationship of 5 years. When I'm with my gf it takes longer than normal to get an erection. Sometimes I wonder if it's going to happen at all.

When I do it doesn't seem to be full. And I don't last as long either. Its very sensitive.

I've also noticed that Im no longer getting any in the morning or at night.

I'm concerned that this could be related to high blood pressure or some other problem.

So far I've tried changing my diet, I've been taking zinc with vitamin c supplements, omega 3 and magnesium citrate. Ive also started to run 6km at least twice a week. I train with rugby twice a week and play games on Sundays.

Im 29. I'm take my blood pressure regularly and it fluctuates around the hypertension zone.

The cause could be anything from psychogenic to vascular, neurological or endocrinal. Please screen through YBOCS scale , Hamilton's Anxiety and Depression Rating Scale. Get a fasting blood sugar, serum testosterone as well. Rest continue with brisk walking for 30 minutes 3-4 times a day and low sugar low fat high fibre diet.

Your score was 10 out of a possible 40.
Scores in the 8 - 15 range are indicative of mild OCD symptoms.

Scored an 8 on the anxiety test. Within the normal range.

"Get a fasting blood sugar, serum testosterone as well"-can you explain this better to me.

Many thanks
