Brief Answer:
medicines will not help in reducing the swelling.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Varicocele and hydrocele are very simple conditions wherein due to a structural variation, fluid gets to collect around the testicles and hence you have observed the size of testicles to be different. The only option to deal with it is surgery. Medicines would not help and hence your doctor has not prescribed any. You can wait and watch but it is unlikely to subside on its own.

Reflux oesophagitis is quite a common disorder and is independent of the varicocele. The things that need to be done are:
* Avoid spicy food.
* Take small but frequent meals.
* Regular exercise and morning walk.
* Fiber rich diet.
* Omeprazole once daily before breakfast, if required.

Let me know if you have any further queries.

Brief Answer:
Surgery needed for full resolution

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.

Pain from the varicocele would be referred to the groin and that seems to be the cause of the pain. In such a case hot compress and pain killers like Ibuprofen should provide some relief in short term. Surgery would be needed for full resolution.
