Brief Answer:
Loose stools
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
From the history you have given it looks like he is suffering from enteritis. This is how you should go about it
1. I usually start antibiotics early in diabetic patients. I recommend ciproflox with tinidazole twice daily for 5 Days
2. Tab racecodotril three times a day will bring down loose stools and its frequency
3. Keep him well hydrated with plenty of water
4. avoid milk and milk products
5. the food eaten should be bland in nature
6. i recommend ORS XXXXXXX instead of salt and water solution. The XXXXXXX is mixed in 1 litre of water and has to be taken sip by sip.
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
