What Causes Diarrhea And Pain In The Stomach?
Question: Hi
Sir i had outside food 2 days back. I had mild stomac pain and no loose stool. My upper abdomen feels tight now and discomfort. What may be the reason. I usualy have late food in the afternoon and little spizy. I get fear very frequenty if prob like this. Now i feel full stomac.

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your problem.
It appears that you have developed gastritis which is an inflammation of inner lining of stomach. Reasons for gastritis generally are alcohol,spicy foods,smoking etc.
I would advise you to start taking a proton pump inhibitor like PANTOPROZOLE 40 mg once a day and to be taken on empty stomach in the morning.
Take it for 7-10 days and you would be completely all right.
If you know that outside and spicy foods trigger your stomach symptoms,then you should avoid them.

I have always a fear towards cancer. I took ct abdimen 2 years back and was normal. Frequent i get gastric prob. Will castic prob lead to cancer. My Dr has given me now these tablets gaspands,t.ofac,t.biflac. Usualy i take late lunch some time and sleep after food. Will this lead to cancer .

Forget about cancer and stop thinking about it unnecessarily. There is no point keeping a regular fear of anything in your mind.
Your habit of eating late lunch and that too spicy and then going to sleep is the root cause for your repeated gastric problems.
Take your lunch at normal time and let it be light and non spicy.
Don't lie down immediately after good.
Give a gap of at least half hour.

Gastritis can cause such a pain.
It is good that you have taken BUSCOPAN.
In case you don't get relief in next 30-45 minutes,then go to ER and get injectables.
Injections would make you all right quickly.

Thanks for your reply. Able to have food but feel some discomfor after food. Also have some gudimess and tensd after meel. Ystd i was not anle to take food but today i was able to have. No pain now

Thanks for reply. If i sit on table to eat i feel frestated and after having 2 idli i was able to eat. What is the reason. Pls help me. I am more tensd bcs of stomac cancer as i have heard from ine of ny relative same symptom and he is no more. He smoke i dont smoke .

Realybthanks for your reply. I feel more tensd. Why do i not feel hungry and and also feel some some discomfort in abdomen. One of relative died in stomac cancer and he said he had same prob of not able to eat and black stole and it came sudden i corelate all. And also feel discomfort abdomen .

I don't know how to make you mentally comfortable.
I think best would be to consult a gastroenterologist and seek his opinion.
You can even ask him to do the endoscopy which can clearly see the stomach from inside.
A normal endoscopy would bring total peace to you.
Less appetite is due to gastritis along with severe anxiety.

Realy thanks for reply so many times. Will gas in stomac make low appetite. I took soda with lemon 4 days back and will it crate gas inside stomac. I not bold enough to go for endo. Let me try lactobtonight .

Taking soda and lemon 4 days back is not the reason for your troubles.
Yes you can take lactobacillus.
Carry on with PANTOPROZOLE and see the response in next few days.

I feel frustrated on seeing food. My relative who passed away on cancer said the same when i sit on table to eat i get frestated and feal like after taking a small amout of food some thing big in my stomac so on hearing all this i get more fear on same symptoms that alone. As pervyour experiance do u feel its not a symptom of cancer. Pls help me.

Please try to understand what I am repeatedly saying, that it is not cancer. However your anxiety and ultimate truth can be ascertained only by an endoscopy by a gastroenterologist.
If you want to get rid of this fear of cancer, then endoscopy is the best.
It would immediately alleviate all your apprehensions.

Very frankly speaking there are no particular symptoms of cancer. In fact symptoms of cancer in early stages are so mild and routine that it is most of the times detected late.
Very frankly speaking there is no way to convince you regarding the presence or absence of cancer. As I said earlier,and I repeat again,please get the endoscopy done so that issue is cleared for once and all.
Only endoscopy can clear the issue and nothing else.

I took ct abdomen in 2014 and it will show clear idea of abdomen equal to endoscopy na. Will there b any missing chances in ct. even starting stage might have been identified in it na .

CT abdomen would also tell about the status of abdomen,however it was done 2 years back.Early cancerous changes inside stomach can be noticed only by endoscopy.
